SIMPLE FIT! GET ON THE ROAD FAST!

You only have to fit the harness to your dog once (see 'Fitting Instructions tab for Instructions) From then on, the Harness can be taken on/off very quickly using the Dual SR Buckle Closure System. The dog car harness wraps around your dog's body, preventing them from being able to roam around the back seat. An unrestrained pet creates an unsafe car ride for dog owners and pets.

Engineered to Last

We have used only the strongest and high quality materials in this product. The Tri-Glides are made from Aluminum Alloy, so they are light, durable and incredibly strong. This crash-tested dog car harness provides impact protection in a dangerous situation like sudden braking or a crash where your furry friend could project out of the car seat.

All webbing is made from vehicle-tested seat belt webbing and the Crosslink™ technology ensures that the harness is the ultimate in strength.

The Chest Plate section is padded and contoured to mold to the shape of the dog for a custom fit.

    EZY dog drive harness

Posted by BONNIE WOHL on 31st Oct 2019

I LOVE this harness every single time we go for a car ride. We've been using it for about 7 months and it's the best. Got great support from the folks at EZY dog with figuring out the best size and then help with getting it properly fitted on my fur baby. Seriously, I could not be happier. Once that's done, it slips right on, EZY to latch and EZY to remove. My dog is 24# and a little bit barrel chested and the small is a perfect fit. Anything from a short trip to 6+ hours and she's comfy and safe in the back seat. I did have to put a clamp on the seat belt to make sure it didn't lock up and not give her adequate room to also sit up. Highly recommended this safety harness.

    Secure

I used to have a different harness seat belt that allowed my dog to still walk around the back seat. I was always nervous about it and heard that they really didn't work in a accident. I'm glad that I came across ezdog. When I made the adjustments for fitting my dog, I wondered if some people that complained about it, didn't do exactly what the directions spell out. It took me about 30 to 45 min, and it wasn't on the dog for the entire duration of adjusting. She's a mellow dog and doesn't seem to mind it. She might be bummed that she can't stand to look out the window. Whatever way they are sitting in the seat is how they will be locked in place other than laying down and sitting. Not much turning or standing seems possible. I'm pretty sure that if you want your dog facing the side window, you'd position them that direction before belting in. So far she's been face forward. But she looks secured in and she doesn't look uncomfortable. I could see how a long car ride wouldn't be great. I could see her getting sick of being locked in. She is able to lay down or sit and go back and forth. The harness looks too cumbersome to go on a walk in. We use it only for drives and walking too and from the car.

We've had our EZY Drive harness just over 2 months and each time I put it on my dog, I am still in awe re how simple it is to put on and take off, and how much we love it. Customer support is top notch. Highly recommend this harness and company.

    Drive Harness

Posted by Mermel on 25th Jul 2018

Excellent product. XS fits my 6 pound puppy and should expand to easily fit when he's full grown. That's compared to the Sleepypod, which is slightly too large for my 15 pound adult. Strap management is ingenious. No loose ends flopping around even with the puppy. The one clasp closure is convenient though not as simple to connect as the traditional one-clicks. I think it will perform better in a crash, however, making this at most a minor annoyance.

    Drive Dog Car Harness

We have had this harness for about a month now and LOVE the Harness! The build quality is great, it was easy to fit our Chow Chow puppy and has enough adjustability that she won't out grow it! Its very easy to put on and take off, the magnetic closure is very convenient. Its very secure, that even an escape artist can't get out of it. its a great piece of mind to know that our dog is secure and safe while in the car with us!

    Drive Dog Car Harness

Posted by Suzie on 22nd Mar 2018

This harness is very well made and should last the lifetime of the dog if not longer. I'm sure it would work perfectly to keep a dog safe in the event of an accident. I would give the harness 5 stars but it rubs on the inside front legs of my dog and has caused sores. Not sure if this is because she is a dog with a large chest (staffardshire terrier) but I find this upsetting and it doesn't make me want to use it. EzyDog Says: Hey Suzie — Thank you for informing us of this issue. This may be remedied with adjustment or a different size. Please contact us so we can assist 877-3EZYDOG or info@ezydog.com

    Hard to Get Adjusted

Posted by WhateverGeorge on 16th Mar 2018

The harness is well built and of quality. We still have yet to get it adjusted so that the dog can't get her mouth at it. Every time she moves, it needs to be tighter in one spot or loosened up in another. I'm not giving up just yet. I do wish it had an option to attach somehow without having the dog on the seat of the vehicle. Our dogs are not allowed on furniture and that includes the seats of the truck. We fold the seats up and now are unable to use the harness as designed. EzyDog Says: Please contact us to assist with the fit. We would like to be sure you are in the best size and have the adjustments snug to prevent too much movement. Thanks! - info@ezydog.com

DRIVE HARNESS FAQ

Can I use a car restraint with the Drive Harness?

We do not recommend using a car restraint with the Drive Harness as the seatbelt offers the strongest connection in the event of an accident.

Can my dog move to another seat?

The Drive Harness limits your dog’s mobility to ensure the safest transport. Your dog should not be able to move to another seat.

Can my dog change position?

Yes. Most dogs have no issue sitting or lying down while securely buckled. Just as a human has limited mobility when the seatbelt is not locked up due to braking.

How do I keep my Dog from sneaking out of the harness?

Be certain that your dog is in the correct size of harness. If your dog is slipping out of the harness, it is more than likely too loose. Be certain that the straps are snug and correctly secured into place. See the Drive Harness video to be sure the straps are properly fed through the tri-glides. If your pup is apprehensive, be sure to give your dog treats and praise when putting the harness on. Take a few short trips with a passenger sitting next to your dog to provide comfort, praise and assistance until your pup is comfortable with their new seating arrangement.

Can my dog ride in the front seat?

We recommend your dog riding in a rear seat for the safest transport.

My dog is over the 75lb testing limit, will they be safe?

While the crash test for the Large Drive Harness was with a 75lb testing dummy, the Drive will be safer and offer a much greater level of strength for dogs above this weight than a non-crash tested harness.
