A Revolutionary Dog Training Harness
The Crosscheck Harness is the best harness to control your dog's pulling desire by requesting attention via their girth. It functions similarly to a martingale collar but instead requests attention around the dog's girth rather than its neck. This alternative limited-slip system allows the handler to request attention as the dog begins to pull, teaching the dog to walk beside them in an effective and humane way while doubling as a solution for escape artists. (US Patent App. No.17/603,903)
The side attachment feature is most effective when the dog is on the left side of the handler (although it is possible to switch this over for right hand walks). For Best Results pair with a short non-shock absorbing leash such as the Vario 4 Leash.

An Escape Proof Dog Harness
Using a simple figure eight configuration, this secure harness is incredibly easy to fit and hard for escape-prone dogs to wiggle out of. The front section of the harness goes over the dog's head much like a Quick-Fit Harness, with the girth strap completing the fitment with a simple side release buckle connection. Here's why the Crosscheck makes a great no- escape harness:
- Adjustable: The more points of adjustment a harness has, the more snug fit —and escape-proof—it will be. Always measure your dog to find the right size to start with. Our adjustable straps help you get the perfect fit or a large dog or small dog.
- Durable material: If your dog pulls, chews or tugs to get out of the harness, you'll need a harness with strong material.
- Extra strap: The belly strap helps keep your dog secure in the harness.
- Martingale attachments: The side martingale style attachment system gives extra control over dogs that pull.
The Perfect Training Harness For Escape Artist Dogs
The Crosscheck Harness has been successfully tested on different sizes and breeds for no pull training. This particular harness is perfect for puppies and young dogs that are in training. Teaching a dog at a young age not only not to pull, but to walk on the side makes for pleasant walking for years to come. The unique Crosscheck Harness feature can also be used to remedy the bad habits of a fully-grown dog that pulls.
With two leash attachment points, the handler has the option of using the harness as a dog training harness or walking harness.
- Caution: Do not leave on dog unattended.
- Caution: PLEASE do not ever leave a dog tied up. Doing so with any EzyDog harness or collar will void the warranty. Thanks for caring about the safety of your dog!
An Award Winning Design Recognized By Pet Industry Professionals
The EzyDog Crosscheck Harness is recognized by pet industry professionals.
For best fit measure the girth of the dog. This is the area behind the front legs and around the body. The neck will typically fall into place once girth is determined. If the measurement is close to the end of the size range, go up to the larger size.

Crosscheck Harness
Our order went great and customer service is prompt! We liked the small crosscheck so much we sized up when our Australian Labradoodle (ALD) grew. We used an EasyWalker harness for our golden who was a puller. The ALD is too, but this harness does the job well. It also seems to have fewer points for causing matts in her fur than the EW. My only complaint is that the rubber at the neck is likely to cause matting problems for doodles. Time will tell. ur pup's adult coat is not in yet, and that will be the one that matts.

Great harness
When we realized our dog could slip out of more traditional harnesses, we knew we needed another option. Someone in a dog group I’m a part of recommended Ezydog harnesses. I also did a search of escape-proof harnesses and this harness was one of the top. So with those two things in mind, I purchased the Crosscheck harness for my 20 pound Schipperke-mix. Because she was right in between a small and a medium, I got the medium, as was suggested by Ezydog. I love this harness! First, it is so easy to get on and off my pup. She doesn’t like wearing harnesses, but she can’t really fight us on this because it’s on in a snap. Second, it performs wonderfully. She hasn’t been able to escape. And I love that you can clip the leash on the side, which reinforces heeling as we teach her leash manners. Third, I love that it’s a martingale-style harness but with the tightening on her girth and not her neck. This also reinforces leash manners. Overall, I would highly recommend this harness to anyone!

Dog harness
Best harness I’ve ever used. Easy to put on your dog and there is no escaping the harness like other ones I’ve used.

Crosscheck Harness
This harness did not work for my labs. It moved around a lot. The two ends of the figure 8 would shift as the dogs walked. Unfortunately I am sending the harnesses back. EzyDog Says: Hi Laila - We would love to assist with the fit, as we are confident this can be avoided with a few adjustments. Please reach out to us. Thank you! info@ezydog.com

Not great for Boxers
It's a great concept and it works WHEN it stays in place. But I would not recommend this harness for a boxer. It does NOT stay in place under the chest/girth, but slides back towards the waist area. I am constantly moving it back to where it should be. Also the neck part is quite tight but there isn't a way to make it looser without making the entire harness looser. EzyDog Says: Thank you for your feedback. For best results with deep chested breeds, after adjusting the neck, adjust the girth strap snug just in front of the widest portion of their chest to keep it from moving back. Please reach out to us and we would love to assist you. Thank you! info@ezydog.com

Works like a charm
This harness works great for my 10 month old Blue Heeler. I like that it has 2 places to clip the leash. The only thing I wish was different is an option to choose which side to clip the leash for correction. I’ve trained her to walk on my left side, but with this harness we had to switch sides. EzyDog Says: Hi Jessica - we're stoked to hear you're enjoying the Crosscheck Harness. I'm happy to inform you that you can adjust the side leash attachment for either left or right-hand walking. We're happy to walk you through the steps. Please don't hesitate to contact us at info@ezydog.com

Crosscheck Harness
This keeps my dog right by my side. I’ve used other no-pull harnesses and they’ve all kept him from pulling too hard but not stopped him from pulling all together like this thing has. If you have a shorter dog like I do I’d recommend using a shorter leash to keep it from dragging on the ground.
