For best fit measure the girth of the dog. This is the area behind the front legs and around the body. The neck will typically fall into place once girth is determined. If the measurement is close to the end of the size range, go up to the larger size.

Fitting Instructions

  1. SLIP HARNESS OVER DOG’S HEAD AND ADJUST BELLY STRAP TO PROPER FIT. IF THE BELLY STRAP DOES NOT FIT MOVE TO THE NEXT SIZE.
  2. ONCE THE BELLY STRAP FITS, TAKE THE HARNESS OFF YOUR DOG TO ADJUST THE ONE TIME CHEST ADJUSTMENT, IF NEEDED. SLIDE THE NEOPRENE SLEEVE TO ONE SIDE AND ADJUST THE SANDWICH VELCRO. THE RED SAFETY PATCH IN VELCRO MUST BE HIDDEN.
  3. SLIP THE HARENSS OVER YOUR DOG’S HEAD AND CLICK BUCKLE INTO PLACE
  4. IF THE BELLY STRAP FITS, BUT THE CHEST STRAP DOES NOT, CONSIDER THE CHEST PLATE HARNESS AS AN ALTERNATIVE.

IMPORTANT: STRAPS SHOULD FIT SNUG WITH THE ABILITY TO SQUEEZE 2 FINGERS UNDER WEBBING.

    Fit.

    Harness is very sturdy. Really like the concept of how it is suppose to work. But it would not fit my pup; so it was returned. Sized correctly it pinched her behind her forelegs. Since I went to a local pet boutique (discovered AFTER I order it online) that carries the harness, I discovered I could not use this harness. Can not fault the harness for this because we went through a LOT of other harnesses that would not work either. The harness that fit her correctly is an Ezydog Harness, the Chest plate harness. That one I give 5 starts, because I could fit it. EzyDog Says: Thank you for your review. We are glad you found a harness that is a good fit. We do recommend adjusting the front chest strap on the Quick Fit Harness if the harness is fitting too far forward as a possible solution.

    Purchased this harness for our 8 week labrador puppy. very easy to get on and off- does not apply any pressure to the neck and you don't have to put the legs through hoops. He doesn't stress when I come after him with it to put on.

    Great harness - set it and forget it!

    Love the customization, once you get the initial fit takes 5 seconds to put on and the fit is always perfect! This is replacing a more complicated (and more expensive) harness that wouldn't hold the adjustment settings. No more pulling from my lab - 5 stars!

    Best Harness Ever

    I have a pitbull and I was looking for a harness for after her TPLO surgery. Finding a harness that fits her broad chest and is well made and comfortable, just didn't happen. I saw this harness on a staffy blog and reached out to the owner who told me the brand. I purchased a large based on my dogs weight and the guidance on the website. FANTASTIC! The harness is padded where it matters, is adjustable across the girth, is extremely well made, and most of all my dog loves it. When I pick up the harness she comes right over to slide her head in for a walk. I highly recommend!

    XXS correct size for 5-lb toy poodle

    Originally ordered XS from chewy.com based on measurements but it was too big. Paid more to get correct size from EzyDog and it fits very well. In these very small sizes, moving the neoprene out of the way to adjust the chest band is very challenging but once done, only need the side buckle. Otherwise well made and a good design.

    Strap underneath chest twist

    I love the EZ dog harness and have bought at least 6 over the past 4 years. The last few harnesses I have bought I noticed the material under the chest twist which seems uncomfortable for the dog. I purchased one 6 weeks ago for my puppy and it already is twisting under the chest area. I still love the quality of this product but I wish you could fix these issue.
