For best fit measure the girth of the dog. This is the area around the dog at the widest. Measure the general back length of the dog. Girth will take priority when selecting a size. The DFD does not need to cover your dog’s entire back length to be effective.

Flotation Device
We bought an XS camo jacket for our 6 month old Frenchie (about 15 lbs) and it fits great and is very stylish too. He is fine with putting it on/off and wearing it while boating too. Although it is not water tested, I have no doubt it will work fine if needed.

finally a lifevest that fits my bulldog!
Very pleased with this lifevest; not only did I research a lot of lifevest before purchasing this one I also purchased a few others that did not work. Bulldogs are hard to fit in lifevests due to their large chest, small waists and huge necks; they also generally sink like rocks ( and of course they sink head first). My bulldog loves this vest, the vest is sleek and not to cumbersome. It fits his length and doesn't swallow him and it keeps his head above water and his body level while swimming. The only alteration I made was adding an additional piece of flotation material (about 4 inches long) around his neck where the neck strap connects because there was a gap where the neck flotation strap attached to the clasp ( filling the gap gave him added stability). I didn't go up in vest size because all of the other measurements fit him, the neck strap still connected securely its just be was a bit unstable with the small gap which wAs easily fixed. My only issue now is getting him to share the pool float! We also took him tubing behind the boat ... He loved it and I was happy knowing he was safe.

Amazing!
We have a 5 year old chocolate lab who loves to swim and dock jump. Recently she started having seizures. The doctor advised us to be careful with her swimming as she could drown if she had one in the water. We got this vest as a safety net to give us a few extra seconds to get to her of she had one. She absolutely loves it!! It doesn't interfere with her natural movement. She does everything she used to do. She doesn't tire as easy and it keeps her head well above water. Great peace of mind.

Best Life Vest on the Market
My dog has a severe balance problem due to a neurological disorder. He also suffers from arthritis. I wanted something that would allow him to exercise without the stress of pounding the pavement. I had aways read about water therapy so I started looking for a doggie life jacket. I happened upon the EzyDog Flotation Vest and after reading the reviews, I knew I had to give it a try. It's amazing! Sammie loves it! He trusts his jacket and knows that he won't tip over when he's in the water. The jacket always holds him upright. The first day, we started out easy in the shallow end of the pool. But, on the next day, there was no holding him back. He swam straight for the deep end! We exercise everyday now, thanks to the Ezy Dog Flotation Vest. It makes me so happy to see my senior dog on the move and enjoying life again! Thank you, EzyDog!

Amazing DFD, LOVE IT!
I bought 2 large vest last summer for my 2 and 3 year old pit bulls. The 3 year old is all muscle and sinks to the bottom when he tries to swim with us. The 2 year old is a good swimmer but tires very easy. Now with these vest they never get out of the water. They wear them all day and other then needing an extra itch now and then they do not bother them at all. Getting ready to buy my parents dog one for this summer so she can play with the boys. I would recommend this product to anyone with any type dog weather they can swim or not. It helps them relax and have confidence in the water. Not to mention the handle is very strong and helps you get them in and out of the water. They even have a pocket for them to carry their toys. Thank you ezydog.

Alternate Use/Geriatric Dog Assist
This flotation product works great assisting my older dog to get outside and to the vet. The double strap underneath the belly offers a lot of support and the handle on top is great to hold the weight as needed. This is better than any other product I have tried.

Our 68 lb Wirehaired Pointing Griffon Love this DFD! When wearing it he will rest his paws on a pool noodle and just float. It makes it so easy to get him back into our boat when he jumps off for a swim and makes him highly visible to other boaters. We bought ours 2 summers ago and it has held up so well! I am about to place an order for a pink camo one for our new girl!!! We love EZY Dog products!!!
