A Dog Life Jacket Designed for Function, Safety and Comfort
The DFD X2 Boost features a unique fixed collar adjustment system, which only has to be adjusted once. The fixed collar on the DFD X2 Boost maintains the same positioning at all times, yet still offers ample adjustment. All webbing is contained within neck strap, meaning there's no loose webbing to irritate your dog.
The Ultra-Buoyant foam is strategically positioned around the vest, including the section under the dog's belly. This keeps your dog upright and in a natural swimming position at all times. Unlike other vests, the DFD does not hinder your dog's natural movement and can be fastened/removed easily and quickly.
New Dog Swim Vest Design with New Features
A life jacket that fits the dog's body type allows them to swim with confidence and run more freely. The geometry of the DFD X2 Boost has been meticulously crafted to fit comfortably around any dog type, with panels designed to taper to the shape of a dog's torso.
A grab handle is situated at the top of the life jacket for quick control over your dog. Reflective piping is used throughout for extra visibility at night. The revolutionary neck adjustment contains buoyant foam, to help keep your dog's head above water.
Why buy a Dog Float Coat?
A dog swim vest has several main purposes. Recreation for dogs that spend a lot of time in and around the water or for owners who take their dogs on boats. It's also great for dogs who struggle to swim and is recommended for use in Hydrotherapy rehabilitation.
For best fit, measure the girth and length of the dog. Girth will take priority when selecting a size.
The girth being the area behind the front legs and around the body.
The length being the area from the neck to the base of his/her tail.
If your dog is between two sizes, choose the smaller size.
The DFD X2 Boost does not need to cover your dog's entire back length to be effective.

Fitting Instructions
- UNCLIP ALL BUCKLES AND PLACE DFD OVER DOG'S HEAD.
- RE-CONNECT ALL BUCKLES AND ADJUST STRAPS UNTIL SNUG, BUT NOT TOO TIGHT.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN STRAPS! WHEN FITTED CORRECTLY, DFD™ SHOULD BE SNUG, BUT TWO FINGERS SHOULD EASILY RUN BETWEEN STRAPS & DOG.

Best life jacket for dogs
After testing and owning other dog life jackets, this has by far the best combination of features and safety. Dog swims great in it and her body position in the water looks the same or better as it did with other bulkier life jackets. She is noticeably less hot in this one on the boat and most importantly, it works great as a harness at the marina. The leash clip is strong-other premium jackets cheaped out with a plastic D ring but this has a metal ring and is very securely stitched. I also really appreciate how easy it is to get on and off, the high visibility color and reflective features, and the grab handle. The straps tuck away and no buckles or webbing rub on the skin. Really couldn’t be happier with this life jacket and my dog is happy wearing it!

Wish the XL was built for more lean athletic +90lb dogs.
I purchased the Large and Extra Large for my 95lb Dogo Argentino. The Extra Large was too bulky. My dog couldn't comfortably sit down bc it's a bit long but it is recommended for the +90lb dogs. So I kept the Large and sent the Extra Large back.

great customer service n well made
Had a sizing issue. Bryant was very quick to connect w me and fix the issue. Item is really well built n seems very durable. My fem 64 pound A. Bull Dog wears it fetching and swimming at the river. Definitely helped her to a more horizontal swim position w better buoyancy than her prev lifejacket. Design is not restrictive so she didn't seem to notice it on at all. Item comes w display placard that has more detailed sizing info w much wider range of measurements. I would suggest this info would be helpful for online purchasing when you can't try product on for size in-store. We have the yellow jacket and it looks awesome.

VERY GOOD, COULD USE A LITTTLE MORE FLOATATION UNDER THE NECK & CHEST. HER NOSE IS A LITTLE LOW TO WATER LINE. SHE IS WEST HIGHLAND WHITE TERRIER, NOT A TYPICAL WATER LOVER, BUT SHE DOES LOVE IT.

Border Collie Approved!
I have a super swimmer Border Collie and wanted a DFD for when we play in deep water off the boat. The X2 Boost is perfect! Fits well and doesn’t restrict movement. He didn’t mind having the X2 on and loves being able to jump off the boat. The yellow color looks great on him! Highly recommend for active dogs!

Great lifejacket - our Golden Retriever loves to go swimming off the boat - makes it easier to get her on and off the boat. And our Pomski likes to linger in the lake with it on - gives him a sense of security. Also excellent customer service when we had an issue they were so prompt and kind. Would recommend

Loves it!
Stela (75lb GS) would do the dolphin swim, (not really swimming, more like jumping in the water) but she loves to go in. So we took her out in the boat and put her new lifejacket on and she swam away! The carry handle is great for helping to pull her out of the water later and she seems so much more confident in her swimming now. We have only used it the one time so far but its great, lightweight and safe. She can freely move all of her limbs with no issues.
