How to Attach the EzyDog UpFront Attachment
This small accessory clips onto your dog's harness to create a front leash attachment point that helps reduce pulling. Follow these steps to fit it correctly:
1. Pinch the Hook and Loop: Squeeze the hook-and-loop tab on the attachment to reduce its resistance, making it easier to thread onto the harness strap.
2. Slide Into Position: Feed the chest strap through the steel D-ring and slide it to your preferred position, typically centered on the chest.
3. Reconnect the Chest Strap: Re-buckle the harness chest strap so the UpFront Attachment sits securely in place on the strap, with its D-ring facing outward.
4. Fit the Harness to Your Dog: Put the harness on your dog as normal, sliding it over the head and securing the girth strap underneath.
5. Clip On the Leash: Attach your leash to the D-ring on the UpFront Attachment at your dog's chest instead of the back, which discourages pulling by redirecting your dog sideways when they lunge forward.
Hand wash in cool water with a mild soap. Add a splash of vinegar to the water to help remove any odors. Rinse well and hang dry.
