How to Fit the EzyDog Crosscheck Harness

The Crosscheck Harness features an escape-resistant figure-8 design with a girth checking system and a soft silicone neck liner for comfort. Follow these steps to fit it on your dog:

1. Identify the Components: Pick the harness up by the top D-ring and identify the silicone neck liner on the inside of the neck strap for comfort against your dog's fur.

2. Place Over the Head: Place the harness over your dog's head and position the crossed straps centered on their back, just behind the neck. Adjust the tri-glide as needed.

3. Apply the Girth Buckle: Bring the girth strap underneath your dog's belly, behind the front legs, and clip the buckle closed at the side.

4. Check the Fit: Use the side checking D-ring as a backup attachment point and to confirm the harness sits correctly across the chest and ribcage. If you need to adjust, simply adjust the triglide to provide more or less slack.

5. Attach the Leash: Clip your leash to either the side D-ring for training or back D-ring depending on the level of control needed.

6. Confirm the Fit: Check that the figure-8 straps lie flat without twisting and that you can comfortably fit two fingers between the straps and your dog's body.
