How to Fit the EzyDog Chest Plate Harness
Get a secure, control-focused fit with the EVA-padded chest plate. Follow these steps to fit it correctly:
1. Lay Out the Harness: Unclip the buckles and lay the harness flat so the neck loop and the two girth straps form a clear Y/triangle shape.
2. Place the Right Leg Through: Lift your dog's right front leg and guide it through the triangle opening so the chest plate sits centered on the chest.
3. Clip the Neck Strap: Bring the neck strap up and over your dog's neck and snap the buckle closed at the back of the neck.
4. Clip the Girth Strap: Route the girth strap behind the front legs and around the ribcage, then snap the girth buckle closed until it clicks.
5. Adjust to Fit: Tighten or loosen the neck and girth straps so the harness sits snug but not too tight, allowing free movement without sliding.
Hand wash in cool water with a mild soap. Add a splash of vinegar to the water to help remove any odors. Rinse well and hang dry.
