Strong, even when they fray
The extensions are nice and sturdy, but they fray and lighten in color quickly with normal use, so age much faster than the leash handle. They are also thinner in the middle than on the ends, which is a visual, not a strength quality. That said, we keep buying them because we like the matching Mongrel leash and chest-plate harness so much!

tyese leash extensions seem sturdy. I meant to buy the bungee/stretchy extensions to match bungee leashes. I will hang on to these though--ordered the right ones

I previously bought the longer version of this extension and Mongrel for my dog Enzo and liked it. When we got Hunter we were using a regular leash and I hated it. Had to have the Mongrel and this extension. Works great.

Strong 2 leash extensions
I have two large very strong Boxers and this leash makes it so easy to walk both of them. Both are very good walkers but when they do pull occasionally the elasticity helps tremendously. And the handle is very comfortable to hold. I like that it swivels, so that the dogs do not get tangled with one another. you can also choke up on one or both if needed for better control.
