Road Runner™ Lite Leash

I purchased a leash similar to this from Kong and it worked great for my Basenji mix. When I used it in my three legged chihuahua I suspected the weight of the overall leash and also when being pulled slightly from my own body weight was too tiring for him. I searched everywhere for an alternative and I’m glad I found this. Now I can use it hands free and the leash isn’t as heavy even when using my own body to control his walk. I can tell he moves much easier and when getting to the end of the leash the bungee cord helps him get a little extra stretch before it starts to pull him back. Great leash. I just wish it came in an olive green color to match my other one.

I really liked the quickfit harness, but I like this leash way more. The largest benefit is it's thinness for small dogs, I've had a very difficutl time finding good quality leashes for small dogs for whatever reason. The hook at the end of the leash is a tad small but fits all our harnesses (but if you have a double D-ring set-up it might not fit). The belt is super helpful for my morning walks or even when I have my hands tied with grocery bags. The elastic part also relieves a lot of tension and gives my pup a signal that he's too far ahead.

My only room for improvement is considering to allow adjustibility of the waist portion to be super small so that it can double as a regular leash and a waisted leash more easily. Right now the neoprene padding stops the adjustment until it's a fairly large handle (too big for my preference).
