We bought the 25" zero shock leashes to use w/an extender for our 80 & 85lb labs. They work perfectly on our daily walks. The padded handles are really nice to slip over my wrist and I can also hold them both easily if needed. Having the shock-absorbing in the leashes is a shoulder/arm saver for when they see another dog or a squirrel!
I have a four year old chocolate lab who loves to pull when we walk. Receive the Zero Shock leash a couple of weeks ago. It is shorter than our previous leash. I think 4 feet is a good length, especially for use with a dog harness. Quite sturdy. Only question is will shock-absorbing feature last. Previous Ezy-dog leash with bunge-cord section had lost all stretch after several months--still a sturdy leash, but no shock absorption.
EzyDog says: Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear your previous bungee leash no longer has the shock absorption. Please contact us at email@example.com or 877-3EZYDOG so that we can make it right.

This is the nicest leash I've ever used. I have a bulldog who pulls suddenly when he sees another dog. This leash and harness have made our walks much easier to manage.
I love, love, love this leash! It really does absorb shock and it is so comfortable in the hand. I love the D ring and the handle and I am especially fond of the little grip tab that is close to the dog, it keeps the leash from slipping through my finger when I need to hod him close. I am so glad that I discovered this leash, I will never go back to a regular one again!
EzyDog knocked it out of the park, again. Quality is amazing. I love the bungee to reduce the strain when my dog pulls. He has a high prey drive so he can catch me off guard sometimes and hit the end of his leash on the chase and get jerked. The bungee reduces the whiplash. We live in the city, so the traffic control handle is a must. Love it!

This leash is perfect for a strong puller, when she pulls it's much easier on my shoulder.
I've been using the 48" zero shock leash for some time now, and just added the 25" for use with larger dogs. I'm an animal shelter and pet adoption volunteer with my local humane society, and I always use these leashes for walking dogs--especially the larger and/or stronger ones. They're sturdy and provide much needed leverage when when walking dogs who are pullers, or are just plain excited.
I have used a few different leashes, but this leash gives me reliable control, regardless of whether I am running, walking, or just moving around an event.
