"I have tried at least 3 other brands/designs of dog life vest with my shih tzu, but this one is by far the nicest and the best fit for him. He is using it very close to the minimum position in the straps, so if he grows (which I don't expect to happen, he is 5 years old) there is still several inches of strap to make it bigger.

"After researching many PFD's for small breeds and reading horror stories of dogs being tipped head first into the water, I decided to go with the Micro Doggy Floatation Device- mainly from reading reviews. Wasn't planning on getting pup into the water, but she slipped out of kayak on her own: the PFD held her perfectly upright and she was able to easily swim back to side of boat and be lifted by the handle on the back of the vest. Very pleased with product. "

"We got this last summer and were wowed. The yellow lets us easily see Kirby from a distance. It seems comfortable even if we pick him up by the strap. He swims much longer without getting tired. A funny story is one day at the lake he got tangled up in a thick tangle of tree limbs in the water. It took us a few minutes to get to him but he never panicked because it held him above the water. He just floated watching us until we could help him. If not for this life float we very well could have lost him! Also, he went right back to swimming with no fears at all. So thank you EzyDog!"

"As a kayaker I can say I have put the micro doggy and full sized doggy flotation devices to the test. Both of these get used almost weekly. They really help keep my dogs safe. They are comfortable on both my Yorkie and Boxer. Handles are well placed and don't dunk your dog's head when you lift them out of the water. The straps are far superior to other vests. The wide neoprene under-straps really support the dog without being uncomfortable or chaffing. Both dogs can wear them all day without and skin irritation. The neck portion really helps keep their heads up out of the water. I've even seen my Yorkie remain motionless and float comfortably. Not only do they vests fit well, but they look great too. We are always getting compliments. My pups used to cling to the kayaks when were were far from the bank, now they are comfortable and secure enough to take a swim anytime. Whenever they see me load the vests they get excited knowing they will soon be in the water. NOTE: never assume that EVERY dog can swim! I must say that as my Boxer got bigger (and more muscular) his ability to swim decreased because muscle doesn't float. I tried other vests, but his Ezydog has much more buoyancy than other vests (cheap and big brand).Thanks Ezydog team! I'm a fan of your products for life!"

"This flotation device works great! I have a 5 lb. Chihuahua and have a hard time finding anything quite as small as he is. The other larger flotation device just didn’t fit quite right so when this one was available I was ecstatic. The handle is really useful, especially when I need to pick him up out of the water. The Micro Doggy Flotation Device keeps my dog comfortable and he loves to wear it. I appreciate this product for keeping my dog safe. "
